Before I was saved. Before I new what a true relationship with God was, I was living in society. I was a product of my upbringing, culture and my generation. I knew nothing else. I was part of this world. I kept searching for something else and never finding it because I was never looking for the right thing. I was searching for what I was told I could find. We are raised with ideas of what life is and what it means. Who we are in this world is determined by achievements, appearances, statuses, and our lifestyle. The list could go on and you'll notice it all steers clear of mentioning Christ as who we are in this world.

Right before I kneeled to God and I proclaimed Him my father. I was in a horrible please. I had a tornado clean out my heart and left me with so much pain, sadness and confusion. The build up of the last 24 years finally came to a crash. I was done. I didn't know where else to go. I didn't know what else I could do. I grew up in an unstable home with unstable parents and found my prince charming at 16. Except we were so far from a fairy tale relationship. I was no princess. For 8 years we struggled in every way possible and just couldn't seem to make it work. You can say we obviously are two determined people, which we are, but we also managed to have a beautiful son 3 years into our relationship. We love him to bits.

My husband decides he has had enough as well. He didn't know what else to do. We were both just lost with our lives. I grew up going to church every now and then. He grew up never going to church. We both felt something lacking in our lives and our marriage. He wanted a divorce. By the grace of God, our marriage is now being restored. We both came to God at different times and separately. He was in Washington state and I was back in Texas. We both managed to find Christ, let Him in our hearts, repent, and start living our lives for Him.

That is the game changer. He is the reset. He is the new start. He is our new society. We are part of His world now. We no longer belong to this earth. Who we are is all ready determined by Him. Our purpose is all ready chosen by Him. As long as we follow His path and stay firm in it, we will see and experience the path He has for us. This is resetting from our culture and society today.
